third Blog

An argumentative research paper serves two things; audience and purpose. As we begin to learn about the many ways of how to present and write an argumentative research paper, those two things were the highlights and standouts on what you should be aiming for. I learned that your standpoint on a situation,  will determine what audience you are addressing. Also your purpose is the point your are trying to get across . The goal of an argumentative research paper is to make a valid point and try to persuade readers in a non demanding and forceful way. You have to get evidence that justifies your claim. Also this week my group and I presented our powerpoint for the grammar project. It was fun to me because I am not really a shy person, and I don’t mind talking to the class. I also feel that when you offer people a reward such as candy, people interact and engage in the activity more. I think these type of teaching methods are going to start developing more and more in the future. From blog post, to agreeing on topics, and presenting projects, I think this is developing people with an open mind and makes you think outside the box.
